Nu Biogen® operates this store and website, including all related information, content, features, tools, products, and services, in order to provide you, the customer, with a curated shopping experience (the "Services"). Nu Biogen® runs its own online store, hosted on Google Cloud.
This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and disclose your personal information when you visit, use, or make a purchase or other transaction using the Services, or otherwise communicate with us.
If there is a conflict between our Terms of Service and this Privacy Policy, this Privacy Policy controls with respect to the collection, processing, and disclosure of your personal information.
Please read this Privacy Policy carefully. By using and accessing any of the Services, you acknowledge that you have read this Privacy Policy and understand the collection, use, and disclosure of your information as described in this Privacy Policy.
Personal Information We Collect or Process
When we use the term "personal information," we are referring to information that identifies or can reasonably be linked to you or another person. Personal information does not include information that is collected anonymously or that has been de-identified so that it cannot identify or be reasonably linked to you.
Depending on how you interact with the Services, where you live, and as permitted or required by applicable law, we may collect or process the following categories of personal information, including inferences drawn from this information:
- Contact details including your name, address, billing address, shipping address, phone number, and email address.
- Financial information including credit card, debit card, financial account information, transaction details, payment method, payment confirmation, and other payment details.
- Account information including your username, password, security questions, preferences, and settings.
- Transaction information including items you view, place in your cart, add to your wishlist, purchase, return, exchange, or cancel, as well as your past transactions.
- Communications with us including the information you include in support requests, emails, messages, and other communications.
- Device information including information about your device, browser, network connection, IP address, and other unique identifiers.
- Usage information including details regarding how and when you interact with or navigate the Services.
Personal Information Sources
We may collect personal information from the following sources:
- Directly from you, including when you create an account, visit or use the Services, communicate with us, or otherwise provide your information to us.
- Automatically through the Services, including from your device when you use our products or services or visit our websites, and through cookies and similar technologies.
- From our service providers, including when they collect or process personal information on our behalf.
- From our partners or other third parties.
How We Use Your Personal Information
Provide, Tailor, and Improve the Services
We use your personal information to provide the Services, process payments, fulfill orders, remember your preferences, send notifications related to your account, process purchases, returns, exchanges, and other transactions, maintain your account, arrange shipping, facilitate returns and exchanges, enable reviews, and create a more customized shopping experience.
Marketing and Advertising
We may use your personal information to send marketing, advertising, and promotional communications by email or postal mail, and to show you ads for products or services on the Services or other websites, including based on your past activity and purchases. We send marketing text messages only to people who separately and expressly agreed to receive them (see Text Messages below).
Security and Fraud Prevention
We use personal information to authenticate your account, secure payments and shopping activity, detect and investigate possible fraudulent, illegal, unsafe, or malicious activity, protect public safety, and secure the Services.
Communicating with You
We use your information to provide customer support, respond to inquiries, provide effective service, and maintain our business relationship with you.
Legal Reasons
We may use your personal information to comply with applicable law, respond to legal process, participate in litigation or investigations, and enforce our terms and policies.
Text Messages (SMS)
If you tick “Text me order and shipping updates” at checkout, we store your mobile number, that you opted in, and when (on your order and customer record) so we can text you about your order, payment and shipping, and reply to your support questions. If you text our support line, (888) 340-4508, we keep the conversation so we can help you. If you reply STOP, we record the opt-out and stop texting you.
If you tick “Text me deals and new products” at checkout, we store your mobile number, that you opted in, when, and the wording you saw (on your order and customer record), and send your number and email to OneText so it can send you our marketing texts.
We use Twilio to send and receive these order and support texts. Separate marketing texts, for people who signed up for them, are sent through OneText. OneText also receives the details of each order (order number, items, totals, phone number and email) so it can measure which purchases came from its texts. These providers use this information only to deliver our messages and report on them for us.
Mobile numbers and opt-in data will not be shared with or sold to third parties for marketing.
See the SMS section of our Terms of Service for message types, frequency, rates, and how to opt out (reply STOP) or get help (reply HELP).
How We Disclose Personal Information
In certain circumstances, we may disclose your personal information to third parties for legitimate purposes subject to this Privacy Policy, including:
- With vendors and other service providers who perform services on our behalf, such as IT management, payment processing, data analytics, customer support, cloud storage, fulfillment, and shipping.
- With business and marketing partners to provide marketing services and advertising.
- When you direct us, request us, or otherwise consent to disclosure of certain information to third parties, such as for shipping or social media integrations.
- With our affiliates or within our corporate group.
- In connection with a business transaction such as a merger, financing, or bankruptcy, or to comply with legal obligations, enforce policies, and protect the Services, our rights, and the rights of others.
All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information won’t be shared with any third parties, other than the messaging providers that deliver our texts for us (Twilio and OneText). Mobile numbers and opt-in data will not be shared with or sold to third parties for marketing.
Service Providers We Use
We use a small number of service providers to run the store. Each receives only the information it needs to do its job.
- Google Cloud hosts the website and stores order records.
- Stripe processes card payments. Card details are entered on Stripe's secure page and are never stored by us.
- Zelle payments are sent through your own bank. We receive the payer name and amount to match your order.
- Google Workspace sends order confirmations and handles email you send us.
- Shipping carriers receive your name, address and phone number to deliver your order.
- Twilio sends and receives our order and support text messages, for customers who opted in or who text us.
- OneText sends our separate marketing text messages, only to people who signed up for them, and receives order details (order number, items, totals, phone and email) to measure which purchases came from those texts.
- Omnisend sends our marketing emails to people who opted in to email.
If you arrive from a Google ad, we store the ad click identifier with your order to measure advertising. Your cart is saved in your browser's local storage on your device. When you pass our 21+ age check, a cookie remembers that for 30 days; the date of birth you type is checked in your browser and is never stored or sent to us.
Third-Party Websites and Links
The Services may provide links to websites or online platforms operated by third parties. If you follow links to sites not affiliated with or controlled by us, you should review their privacy and security policies and terms. We are not responsible for the privacy, security, accuracy, completeness, or reliability of information found on those third-party sites.
Children's Data
The Services are not intended to be used by children, and we do not knowingly collect any personal information about children under the age of majority in your jurisdiction.
If you are the parent or guardian of a child who has provided us with personal information, you may contact us using the contact details below to request deletion. As of the effective date of this Privacy Policy, we do not have actual knowledge that we "share" or "sell" personal information of individuals under 16 years of age as those terms are defined by applicable law.
Security and Retention of Your Information
Please be aware that no security measures are perfect or impenetrable, and we cannot guarantee perfect security. Information sent to us may not be secure while in transit, and we recommend that you do not use unsecured channels to communicate sensitive or confidential information.
How long we retain your personal information depends on factors such as whether we need the information to maintain your account, provide the Services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, or enforce contracts and policies.

Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track
If you visit our website with the Global Privacy Control opt-out preference signal enabled, depending on where you are, we will automatically treat this as a request to opt out for the device and browser you use to visit the website.
Other than Global Privacy Control, we do not recognize other “Do Not Track” signals that may be sent from your browser or device.
Submitting Requests
You may exercise applicable rights where indicated on the Services or by contacting us using the contact information below. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.
We may need to verify your identity before processing your request, as permitted or required by law. We will respond to your request in a timely manner as required by applicable law.
Complaints
If you have complaints about how we process your personal information, please contact us using the information below. Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to appeal our decision or lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
International Transfers
We may transfer, store, and process your personal information outside the country in which you live.
If we transfer your personal information outside the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we will rely on recognized transfer mechanisms such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent transfer mechanisms, unless the destination country has been determined to provide an adequate level of protection.
